Tommy joined the firm in 2014 and has been practicing law in Tennessee since 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced law as an associate with Batson Nolan PLC in Clarksville, TN.

Tommy has concentrated his practice in the areas of family law, which includes divorce, adoption and child custody, estate planning, civil litigation, business litigation, personal injury, and criminal law. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, and the Williamson County Bar Association.

Tommy earned his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2009. While in law school, Tommy was a member of Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Board, which administered all of the trial and alternative dispute resolution competitions within the law school. Tommy’s undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Tennessee in 2006. While at Tennessee, he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and was active in both the Student Government Association and the Interfraternity Council.

Tommy was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and is a graduate of Hillwood High School. He, and his wife, Lauren, a business analyst at Hospital Corporation of America, reside in the Brentwood and are involved in various service related projects and organizations in the community. They are active members of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Tommy has helped teach a children’s Sunday school class in the church and has been involved in the young adults and men’s ministries. He is also a member of the Andrew Jackson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. Tommy enjoys football in the fall, especially cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans. He and his wife enjoy traveling when the time allows.
